Privacy policy

Effective 2 October 2026. This policy covers the Multa Wallet Chrome extension and related Multa apps at multawallet.com.

1. Who we are

Multa is a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet. There is no Multa account, no Multa cloud backup, and no analytics product that receives your wallet. Contact: info@multawallet.com.

2. What we do not collect

The developer does not collect personally identifiable information, seed phrases, private keys, unlock passwords, browsing history, website content, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell data. We do not use wallet data for advertising.

3. What stays on your device

The encrypted wallet, settings, custom networks and tokens, local send history, connected-site permissions, and a price cache live in browser or app storage on this device. The unlock password is used in memory to decrypt the vault and is never written to storage. A lost phrase cannot be recovered by Multa.

4. What third parties may see when you use the wallet

When you look up a balance, request a swap quote, or send a transaction, the RPC, explorer, or routing service you use can see the addresses and amounts involved in that request. That includes default public RPCs, custom RPCs you add, LI.FI (EVM, Tron, Sui quotes), Jupiter (Solana quotes), and public price sources. Those parties have their own policies. The developer does not operate a backend that stores your wallet.

5. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Multa complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Single purpose: a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet that shows balances, sends and swaps assets the user confirms, and connects to websites the user approves.

Host access (https://*/*, localhost) is used only for actions the user starts: connect to a site they open, and call HTTPS APIs for balances, quotes, and sending. A content script only relays connect and sign messages. The extension does not read pages for analytics.

storage holds the encrypted vault and local settings described above.

6. Children

Multa is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
